After years of diving fun in various countries it seemed to be time to share our experiences with others. The most obvious way to do this nowadays is through the all present "world wide web". Inspired by our friends Anne and Mat with their site "Natuurlijk Mooi" we finally, registered a domain name and started our website.

The name ImagoMaris we derived from joining the latin words "Imago" (image) and "Maris" (of the sea/from the sea). First target of our site is to show to everyone who has an open eye for it, the unbelievable beauty of the underwater world. Thus we hope that ever more people will get a better understanding and more respect for the sea. After all, in the sea lies the origin of all life on earth!

Also we want to try, just as Anne and Mat's site to build a source of fotographs with which determination of different life forms in the water becomes more easy. This is for us without any doubt the most difficult task, but eventually, doing this, we hope to learn more about life in the underwater world.
